Competiton Points & Playoff Information

1. For all Premiership, Senior and Junior championship competitions, two (2) points are awarded for a win and one (1) point for a draw. Should a bye be necessary in any grade competition, 2 points will be awarded to the bye team and a 30 nil scoreline for calculation of percentages.
2. For any Top 4 or Top 5 play-off, semi final, preliminary final, grand final or knockout match that ends in a draw in a draw in normal playing time, an extra five (5) minutes each way will be played and if required a further 5 minutes each way. If the game is still a draw at the conclusion of the two (2) periods of extra time, the first team to score any points will be declared the winner except in the case of a grand final where the respective Board or Committee may decide to declare joint winners after the final two (2) period of extra time.
3. In the case of a tie on points in the Championship Rounds, points for and against will be used to determine each teams position and decide which teams progress into the Top 4 or 5 playoffs. The respective grade formats are advised at the commencement of each playing season.
