Auckland’s best and fairest

 

In 1979 the Auckland Rugby League Referees Association introduced an inter-club best and fairest award which quickly became the most sought-after individual player’s prize. Since 2007 it has been known as the Lions Red Fox Memorial Player of the Year, with coaches voting fir their best player and the best opposing player each game. Winners:
