Two sets of Auckland twins named in NZ Residents U16

It will be a family affair when the NZ Residents U16s take on Samoa NZ Residents U16s this week, with two sets of Auckland twins named for the local side.

Manurewa’s Otukinekina Kepu will play alongside his twin brother Valingi Kepu, while Marist twins Moala Graham-Taufa and Lani Graham-Taufa will also take the field.

Among the fourteen Aucklanders named are Manurewa Marlins Jeremiah Margraff, Jarney Proctor-Harwood, Sione Moala, and Marist’s Lleyton Finau.

Waitemata’s Luani Tavake Naufahu Whyte, Samuel McIntyre, Asolelei Fretton and Te Atatu Rooster T.J. Devery will represent their clubs, while Otahuhu Leopards Quinnlan Tupou and Taniela Otukolo make the cut as well.

The team headed to Rotorua on Tuesday morning, in preparation for their clash at Puketewhero Park on Thursday, which kicks off at 6pm.

The match follows the National Talent Development Final in March, in which the majority of the team took part.
