Following the final weekend of the U16 Shaun Johnson Shield that saw Tāmaki ki te Tonga (South) claim the inaugural title, the Auckland Rugby League have announced a representative squad selected from the four U16 Auckland teams.

This U16 Auckland side will travel on a three-game tour of the upper-North Island, alongside the U18 Invitational Junior Warriors. The tour will take place throughout the school holidays from April 21^st to May 1^st.

Training for the 22-man squad will commence on Monday the 11^th of April from 5.30pm at Mt Smart. Players are to meet at the front gate (Gate C) at 5.15pm.
