Auckland Rugby League celebrated legends of the game’s history and of the 2023 Premiership season in an evening hosted at GoMedia (Mt Smart). The event was attended by the grassroots game’s players, clubs, officials, partners, and of course, friends and family.

The Awards acknowledged Individual and Team success across the Fox Memorial Premiership, Women’s Premiership, and Sharman Cup this season. Congratulations to the Players of the Year from each – Tony Siligi (New Lynn Stags), Lavinia Tauhalaliku (City), and Sione Feao (Otahuhu Leopards) - and the all the teams on a great 2023 season.

This year’s event introduced new Awards, as well as re-introducing the ARL Immortals, a concept that was celebrated in 2008 and 2015. There will be a series of articles following the conclusion of the season that looks into the 2023 Immortal Inductees.
